Returning for the third year, the Nottingham Muddy Dog Challenge is taking place in the grounds of the spectacular Wollaton Hall – an Elizabethan mansion, set atop a hill in Wollaton Park, in the beautiful suburbs of Nottingham.
Whether you’re a fitness fanatic or just looking for a fun day out, we welcome humans and their dogs to take part and raise money to help care for the dogs and cats at Battersea.
You can enter as a dog and human team or on your own. Participants must be aged 8 years or above on event day, and any children aged 8–15 must be accompanied by an adult, also taking part. Dog competitors must be 1 year or older on event day.
You’ll get a Muddy Dog Challenge t-shirt, and a bandana for your dog to wear on the day. After you’ve completed the course, you’ll be awarded a medal, and lucky dog will get a rosette to wear with pride.
Friends and family are welcome to come along on the day, and you and your four-legged friend will have a chance to refuel with plenty of food and drink on offer in the event village.
First aid and veterinary cover will also be available on the day.
Registration for Muddy Dog Challenge Nottingham closes on Sunday 22 September. If the event reaches capacity we will close registrations early.
