Join us in Newcastle for for the Muddy Dog Challenge 2019, a 2.5km or 5km obstacle run that you can tackle with your dog.

The first ever Muddy Dog Challenge in the North East is taking place just north of the city of Newcastle Upon Tyne, at the fabulous Newcastle Racecourse in High Gosforth Park.

Whether you’re a fitness fanatic or just looking for a fun day out, we welcome humans and their dogs to take part and raise money to help care for the dogs and cats at Battersea.

REGISTRATION FOR MUDDY DOG CHALLENGE NEWCASTLE IS NOW CLOSED.

You’ll get a Muddy Dog Challenge t-shirt, and a bandana for your dog to wear on the day. After you’ve completed the course, you’ll be awarded a medal, and lucky dog will get a rosette to wear with pride.

Friends and family are welcome to come along on the day, and you and your four-legged friend will have a chance to refuel with plenty of food and drink on offer in the event village.

First aid and veterinary cover will also be available on the day.

We ask each Muddy Dog Challenge participant to raise £100 to help us to be here for every cat and dog. Although there is no fundraising target for children, if you are running with a child we encourage you to try and raise more than £100.

The money you raise by taking part in the Muddy Dog Challenge will go towards the running of Battersea.
